We arrived home at 2:30pm!
As for me, I won't miss the hospital cot or food but I do miss the little button you can push and someone comes to wait on you. Couldn't they supply that service at home?
We consider "Phase one" over. Now we wait for a biopsy report .... again. Then we can begin "Phase two" whatever that entails. Keep praying! We need all the support you can give.

Hard to believe you are home so soon. Glad for the good progress so far. Take care. Irene
Even though Arnie and I are far away, we are thinking of you and sending all the good vibes we can. I am sure a special angel is watching over both of you. Betty
Vonnie,
Bill & I just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. They say that nurses are lousy patients. Now is not the time to prove them right. Do as you are told! When you think of the fight ahead just think of it as climbing a hill on the recumbent. When we had ours, I always said there was only one thing to think about, that was getting to the top, not how fast or how strong you did it, only that you did! We have you in our thoughts. We have many more miles to ride together. Get well soon.

Marge and I are happy you are home with Leonard, where you can rest easier.
You've climbed the first hill, there are more on the horizon, but keep telling the stoker to shift down and pedal.
Bless you both, and keep that smile showing.

When do you want your soup? betsylud@sbcglobal.net
It's made and ready! Want some donuts with the soup?
Len and Vonnie,
I am so sorry that you have to deal with this disease. One of our close friends "had" breast cancer, the masectomy, the chemo etc. and its been more than five years now :) (I will tell her about you and I am sure she'll be praying too...her name is Ann. We will see her tomorrow in Chicago). I would like to bring you a meal next week if you would like...I will call to see what sounds good to you!
I am Praying for you, constantly lifting you up to God our Father.
Love and blessings, Linda Z (lindajz@juno.com)
Vonnie and Len,
So glad you are home! By the way, Len, the magic buttons for you to push now are on your telephone. I suspect there are many numbers available to friends who would be there in a flash, sounds like with good food in tow, too, not hospital food. I'm a bit farther away, but just let us know how we can help. May you have sound sleep tonight and happy dreams.

Vonnie and Len,
I am not good with this blogging thing, just figured it out. Had tried to send a message Sunday night and could not get it. I had wanted you to know that Jack and I are prying for you too. We prayed for the surgeon hands to be steady and sure.
We will continue to pray for your recovery to be complete and speedy.
Love,
Jack and Linda Mosley
Vonnie and Len,
Glad to hear that you are home! And that everything went as planned with the surgery … the power of prayer is a awesome thing!
God's blessings to you both,
Curt & Rose
